I keep trying to send messages from my phone... hmmmmmm

yesterday

Andy had a great day at school yesterday! He did great all day got lots of smiley face awards and then got to pick a prize out of the treasure box! He was proud of himself and I am very proud of him!

Today

Andy made me a card at school! It is soo cute! and he drew a couple of other pictures and colored a school bus. He learned about the letter A... A is for Apple... When he came home he asked to color and drew and Apple with the letter A. His drawing of the apple was really good.
He was very hungry tonight... he ate all his chickens and still wanted more food! I was pleased with how much of his lunch that he ate today too! I really had no clue how much food to pack for him... but it looks like he did good! He ate a verity of his foods.

First Day of School

Andy did great getting up and getting ready for school today. He ate a good breakfast and helped pack his lunch in his new Thomas lunch box. He waited for the bus to arrive like a champ! He got on the bus and off he went. He should be enjoying his first day of school right now.

Andy's Day

Andy got to go see his teacher today. She walked him through what will happen when he comes to school and where he puts his lunch box and his back pack and then where he stands and waits to go into class. Then she did an assessment to see where he is. He counted to 50 then decided he was done. (so cute) The assessment was on the computer and he liked that he got a 100% on his ABC's because the entire pie was the same color! He is very excited and knows where his classroom is and which number it is. He gets to ride the bus to and from.

Happy About School

They had an Ice cream Social and chance to meet his teacher. Andy's teacher is Mrs Bertagni. She is really nice. She has been teaching for 28 years. Andy is excited that they have Laptops in the class room and is looking forward to getting to use them. They use a lot of Dry Erase sheets for practicing writing and working on math problems! It is very exciting! We get to go in on Tuesday for a 20 minute assessment so she can see where our smart guy is at! and then we start school on Wednesday! so very exciting! The school principal know who Andy is and greeted us by name! He is there to help assure us all that Andy is going to have a great year! The entire staff is friendly and out going!
